We also encourage young people to lead a healthy life with trekking events, traditional meal days, village visits, traditional game sharing days and awareness activities. This excellent activity had a great impact on us in every sense. It was incredible that such close friendships could be established, so many things could be learned and great life experiences could be gained in such a short time as 8-9 days.\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSo much so that one of the Turkish participants said in his closing speech, “This project has improved my language more than the English education I received for a year.” This was an indisputable fact, because contrary to what is known, a training method was used in these projects.\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSomeone with knowledge and diploma did not come out as a \u0027sender\u0027 and directly convey information to the bored \u0027receivers\u0027 standing in front of him. Instead, a facilitator made the necessary directions on the main topic of the event, and the participants revealed what they knew. In this way, a collective information flow was ensured. Open-ended discussions were held, different approaches in other countries were discussed, and everyone humbly shared their own experiences on the subject of interest. And all this was done in English. the non-formal learning method attract us from the very first minute. The best part of all this was that Erasmus+ projects were completely free.\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWe thought that this education method should become widespread in our own country and that every young person studying in our country should participate in at least one of these kinds of projects. We decided to reach as many people as we could and open as many doors as we could in people\u0027s minds. We set out by saying that we can do this job, and we can do it in a more organized and higher quality way. In the first place, we participated in as many projects as we could in order to increase our own experience in this field. We learned something new each time. At the end of these projects, which we are still learning, we entered the Erasmus+ world officially in 2016.\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOur aim was to touch life as much as we could and to ensure that the young people in our country benefit from these opportunities at the maximum level in accordance with the purpose of the emergence of Erasmus+. In this direction, we love what we do and have been doing it for years on a completely voluntary basis. We did not limit this movement that we started to only EU projects, and we also played important roles in many social responsibility projects. Currently, we are proud of being one of the milestones in the lives of many people who have started their careers and stepped into higher education. In addition to carrying out activities in the field of youth, our main aim is to carry out rights-based activities that focus on youth. The traumas caused by the conflicts that started with the curfews announced in 2015, have increased our orientation towards rights-based activities, which include rights not only for youth, but especially for women and children. In this context, we carried out work on rights violations and psycho-social support for children and women who are experiencing conflict in Sur. In 2017, we carry out psycho-social support activities for children, youth, women and children who are traumatized by war, especially Syrian and Iraqi refugees under temporary protection living in Sur and Bağlar, one of the poorest districts of Diyarbakır. Especially for the last 4 years, we have carried out psycho-social support studies to improve the effects of conflicts and prohibitions on children in Diyarbakır Sur district. We became a participant and observer of the rights-based works carried out in Diyarbakır. Although the immigrants migrated to other neighborhoods within the provincial borders, they encountered a different structure when compared to Sur\u0027s unique neighborhood, street and house structures, social relations compatible with the physical space, and cultures of solidarity. One of the main problems we observed in our previous studies was that the families displaced due to conflict and prohibitions could not catch up with the physical and social structure of Sur at the destination, and that they experienced serious cohesion and lack of social space is to support the social adaptation process of asylum seekers, to ensure cultural interaction in the region where they live, and to ensure that children are included in the participation processes. In this framework, in the last two years, we have spent a lot of effort on the rights-based empowerment of the groups we work with. For example, while we were trying to persuade families of young refugee women to access education, we also carried out workshops on the rights of young women. Sexual rights cover many things, from individual experiences to service delivery in the public sphere. We have a group of around 50 local volunteers aged 18-30 who develop their social skills and increase their chances in the labor market through our activities.
