Youth NGOs

Adıyaman Youth and Culture Association was established on December 17, 2008 and we have 35 members. Our association was established to support the activities carried out by Adıyaman Youth and Culture House within the scope of the Social Development Program carried out under the Gap Regional Development Administration of the Ministry of Development and to carry out joint activities.

Our organization consists of general responsibility, executive committee members and volunteer young participants. The aims of our association are to create opportunities for youth to be aware of their problems, to define them and to take initiative for their solution, to act as a facilitator for the participation of young people in local decision-making processes, to work towards improving their social development and professional skills, to include young people in international youth networks and by increasing their sensitivity towards social problems to help it function as a social actor.

Our association organizes various social and cultural trainings and activities in order to be sensitive to local youth problems and to take an active role in solving these problems. Our association became a European Voluntary Service Accredited institution in 2012. In addition, as the Eurodesk Contact Point, we organize various training and information meetings in Adıyaman about Eurodesk and opportunities related Europe.
