Youth NGOs

We offer specialist help that is close to the client's needs and that is preferably given in their own environment. We work together with the child or young person, the family, their environment and other care providers to tackle the problems. We focus on solutions for now and later. Our specialist help is aimed at increasing the strengths and possibilities of young people and families so that they can continue.

Naast Wonend Mentor - Next to Living Mentor is for young people aged 16 – 23 who often already have a long history in the care sector. A number of young people live independently with the supervision and guidance of a mentor who lives in the house next door.

A number of young people live in a Next to Living Mentor House (NWM) independently with the guidance of a mentor who lives in the neighboring house lives. The NWM is a form of independent living with supervision, guidance from a single contact person. It is a place where young people get the time to process what has happened in their lives and focus on the future. The young people learn step by step what it means to live independently. For example, they learn what it is like to share a house with others and there to make arrangements, to go to work/school independently and time to come and find a nice leisure activity. The final goal is that young people, on the basis of individual goals, identify themselves personally develop and work on self-reliance.
