Youth NGOs

Our association was established in March 2022 in order to increase the quality of life of young people in Diyarbakır, located in the Southeastern Region of Turkey, to contribute to their social integration, and to create appropriate environments where they can gain awareness in the individual and social areas. Our main goals are to develop cultural, democratic, social and ecological awareness among young people, to bring together young people with different interests and activities under a common roof, and to increase the influence of young people on the work of the local community.

Our main target audience is youth and youth workers with limited opportunities despite being one of the largest cities in the Southeast. We aim to support young people who have been away from formal and non-formal education due to their social, economic and political situations. Our association, which aims to follow an active path in the international arena as well as local projects, has made it a duty to provide opportunities to our members in areas where they can realize themselves. Although it has been 9 months since the foundation of the association, thanks to the wide networks created by our members, we partnered with an Erasmus+ project and 6 of our young people had access to abroad.

Our association also organizes courses and seminars in order to provide trainings on youth, education, environment and digitalization, to ensure national and international cooperation, and to expand educational activities to all areas of the society. Our association aims to ensure the integration of green and digital transformation, which is among the priorities of the "European Union Green Consensus", into the European Education Area, the Digital Education Action Plan and the European Skills Agenda, and to ensure that all individuals, young, old, disabled or non-disabled, legal, economic, social, political, artistic and aims to ensure their participation in life in these fields. Parallel to this, our association aims to carry out projects and activities for their individual and professional development with the awareness of democratic rights and law.

Our association has a strong, experienced, young and dynamic staff. The founding members of our association have served in the R&D unit of the Provincial Directorate of National Education for many years and still continue their duties actively. They held managerial positions in projects supported by many Development Agencies, TUBITAK, Erasmus+, Embassy and Ministry.
