WORKING TOGETHER FOR WELFARE!

With hundreds of volunteers, committed employees and good contacts with local professional and voluntary organizations Welzijn Castricum is close by. By inviting and encouraging people in the cores and neighborhoods to meet and look after each other, Welzijn Castricum, as a social broker, makes a concrete contribution to strengthening the social infrastructure.

Welfare Castricum is committed to a vital society every day. We support (vulnerable) citizens so that they can take care of themselves and participate in society. We connect people and organizations. Welfare Castricum, together with volunteers and fellow organizations, is committed to supporting residents in a timely manner with appropriate connections and solutions through (early) identification. Welfare Castricum is reliable, optimistic and committed.

The starting point is the use of one's own possibilities and keeping control over the own situation of residents.

Youth work Buch

The youth workers from the BUCH municipalities have created a joint website. There were already countless mutual contacts, but there was not yet an overarching digital platform. So now yes.

By presenting the activities BUCH-wide, the range becomes wider and the reach larger. Young people from Heiloo or Bergen, for example, can also participate in activities in Castricum and Uitgeest and vice versa. Getting to know each other's people, each other's wishes and participating in each other's activities expands their world and offers opportunities to develop further. In addition, the exchange of knowledge between youth workers is also a huge advantage.

The site offers opportunities to make use of everyone's expertise: successful activities can also be deployed in other municipalities.

Young people, their parents, policy makers and other stakeholders now have a complete overview of what youth work entails in practice in one place.

BUCH wide working is stimulated by the municipalities: this site is a wonderful example of that!

Do you find it difficult to make friends? That is not crazy. In the Netherlands, 8% of young people between the ages of 12 and 25 feel lonely. Due to the corona crisis, that number is currently even higher. Do you often feel alone? And do you want to change that? Then sign up for Join us. We bring you into contact with peers and help you become stronger socially. In collaboration with Stichting Welzijn Castricum, Join us is starting a group for young people between the ages of 18 and 25.

What do you do at Join us?

At Join us you do a lot of fun things and we help you become socially stronger. Together with other young people you devise and organize all kinds of activities. The group therefore decides for itself what the evening will look like. You learn how to organize something. Think of an evening of gaming, playing games, gourmet, watching a movie, playing football, bowling and many more cool things! During the evening

There are supervisors present to help you become socially stronger! Of course it is exciting to come to Join us the first time. Everyone thinks so! But once at Join us you will notice that the atmosphere is very cozy. That you are welcome and can be yourself.
